About David Bohrer Photography
Originally from Los Angeles, CA., David Bohrer worked as a staff photographer for the Los Angeles Times for 15 years, where he was part of three photo staff Pulitzer Prizes for news photography. During that time, he authored and photographed the book “America’s Special Forces” (1998, MBI Publishing), a look at the elite, special operations units of the U.S. military. From 2001-2009, he was a staff photographer for The White House, where he chronicled the the behind-the-scenes and daily lives of Vice President Dick Cheney and President George W. Bush, including the events of September 11th, 2001. He was the personal photographer to Vice President Dick Cheney during his eight-year term. David currently lives in Washington, D.C. and does corporate, portrait, campaign, and event photography.
